You gotta story mate?

We all were born out of some one else s narrative. Never got to chose the country, society, parents and siblings.

Born with a partially formed body - neck that can’t support the head, skull itself was open at the top, legs were weak in the joints, not even a tooth and poor eye sight.

Yet the child survived, grew everyday. It was able to use its jaws to suckle and use its throat to keep the new mom awake and take care of its needs.

Why was the baby not wallowing in sorrow or in self pity or thoughts of self harm?

Because it did not know those thoughts can exist.

They were never part of the nature s narrative.

The baby was playing the story of survival.

Driven by the instincts straight from its genes.

The most powerful story about yourself. The one you forgot about yourself.

The questions to ask yourself:

  • What is the story you have got about yourself, NOW?
  • What is the story you want to write about yourself in your future?
  • Do you realise, the world around you is the narrative you have given, to yourself?

It is your responsibility to get the narrative right.

It is serious work. Every now and then, spend time with yourself, weild the hat of an editor and edit your thoughts - cut, copy paste and delete.

Change your story. Change yourself. The future will change for you.

Best wishes,

Vishy
